what box should i be looking for etc and how hard is it to modify the cable type linkage from a focus etc what needs doing?

how much will the mounts be from you and what driveshafts should be used?

xrsi,

Paul Rippley a member of this site brought his FRS box to me last week which has a starter at the rear, and also has a cable linkage. We had a good look at every option and ideas.....

After an in depth discussion we decided that the FRS box had no advantage over the RS2000 MTX75. Was harder to fit and would cost more, would make it hard to fit a Tubular manifold, Roller bearing Turbo, Linkage etc... and really wasnt worth it. If he wanted to use the FRS box we would, but Pro's and con's mean that the MTX75 is all round the best box we could use and with the money he saves could put it towards an ATB diff.

HTH
Regards
Jano

brilliant!

so all the mtx75 boxes apart from the focus have normal type linkages and front mount starters?

if so any idea of dates and prices that the brackets will be made or availiable as my box is leaking like a bitch and desperatly needs doing!!

also what sort of shafts should be used then? im right in saying that the BC shafts are different splines arent they?
