Stick trainers into freezer overnight and thats kills bacteria so removes odour and if you have trainer/trench foot buy a bottle of formaldehyde and soak your feet in it after 1st washing your feet and that kills bacteria removes odour.

thats the only way............although, if you put them in the washing machine with a hefty...and i mean hefty dose, of one of the stronger cleaners. cillit bang, oxy clean etc.

this does the trick but the smell, will never 100% be gone

i buy my bro new trainers for his birthday...every year....without fail, as his feet stink, and he throws the old ones away

Stick them in freezer long enough and smell goes completely. Smell is caused by bacteria so kill bacteria and no smell...simple.
Wash trainers on delicate low temp wash only to clean them but NOT to remove smell.

Actually yes it is. Prolonged trainer wearing without good foot hygiene often leads to fungal infections and even trenchfoot.

Ive got some sort of bacteria shit on my feet, currently got to soak em in pottasium permanganate everyday. This is caused by wearing traniers everydsay for work etc!!

Trainers are SO bad for your feet its unreal. They are not suitable for long term footwear (by longterm I mean more than a couple of hours use at a time) but fashion dicates otherwise. I used to wear trainers all the time but don't own a single pair now.

Part of the answer is even in their name- trainers = training shoes.
Designed for short term usage and not as everyday footwear but as they are comfy and the advertising/brainwashing of consumers has made them a fashion must-have so folk wear them as everyday footwear.
They promote bacterial growth (hence odour) and are bad for your feet generally. My Mom was a GP for 30+ years and the numbers with chronic diseases caused by trainers are a big concern to medical profession. They don't allow your feet to breathe correctly and also cause your toes to be deformed (squashed together so they are moulded to each other esp little toe to adjoining toe) due to their intrinsic design. Wear trainers and you deform your feet its as cut and dried as that.
Odour eaters and the like are not addressing the problem just eliminating trainers most antisocial manifestation.
