Default ALS - Breaks engine parts !!!

Well got ALS running just nicely on my car..

Makes a bit of boost and lots of noise

However, just managed to break TWO items on the car as a direct result of this

I have TWO bosch wide band lambda sensors in the exhaust down pipe.
(one for the ecu and one for a monitoring display)

Both are dead - whats even worse, I just recently replaced one after breaking it
when trying to remove it with a spanner.

Phil,
Leave ittttttt , it was just a pleasant reminder, so don't turn this post to shit (Mr Reverse Midas touch ).

Simon has been instructed to get the ECUs tested fully before issuing software upgrades on the general public .

Phil,
Thanks for the kind offer but YOU are NOT the only reasonably priced BOSCH dealer in the world.

I get trade prices that are inline with yours from my new supplier.

Phil,

My volumes are not huge but then I dont sell on bosch partslike others do.

you told me that you would NOT deal with me so I have never attempted to
buy from you since you said that.

This forced me to look around at other sources for bosch parts such as injectors,
5 bar map sensors and ignition amplifiers.

By pure luck I managed to find a company that will sell to me at trade prices
and also they do not have a part time clown as its sales rep.

TBH i think simon was perfectly aware of the fact it was going to shag his lambda sensor, and was just interested in how long it took, that would certainly have been my reasoning, as like anyone with a science background im sure he has an inquisitive mind which is best satisfied by first hand experience
