I would think it's not but if you say so.... I doesn't look like eithe rto me. I think both use braided hoses for remote canisters.

I don't know, I'm trying to identify it. It's for standard Cossie hubs.

Looks like they fit Escos all right. But I won't go into them as I know I can't afford Ohlins refurbishment. IF they are Ohlins. Anybody got a photo of OHlins suspension for Cossie?

well realistically any remote reservoir unit no matter what make is going to be worth a bit. given the condition i would offer around £400. enough to send em off for refurb. all depends on how much u want em & how little the guy will accept. have to say though, a couple of remote reservoirs under my bonnet would deffo look the part.

I know what you mean. I kind of dream about the same. But Leda's are supposed to be unreliable and Proflex/Ohlins is out of my range.

What milage did you do and at what conditions?

We got VERY VERY VERY bad roads over here in Poland. Scoobie owners change shocks every couple of k miles. The same obout other cars. I already bent one Biltein shock.

They don't look like Ohlins to me. Well they look nothing like the Ohlins shocks I had. The design of the remote canister is different and yes mine had braided hose to the reservoiur. Plus my Ohlins looked a lot more chunky than those.

Sean..

good point. car is only used in summer months & roads are good. if ur roads are so bad, aint gonna matter what suspension u got, may as well bend something thats cheap to replace. i would imagne that Poland is a very interesting place?

I am considering new type of Avos with double adjustability.

I do use the car hard and all year round. I like to use it as it was supposed to be used. I'm going rallying in 3 weeks time

It is. Very nice for holiday. Schould be pretty cheap for you too.

It's group N suspension and by the looks of it will need refurbishment wich isn't going to be cheap regardless of the brand.

Proflex does use this type of hose or atleast used to, canisters look similar as well but can't be sure.

Check the proflex website as they have all their shock-types on there.

BTW. any chance of you sorting me out with a sweet Polish lass?

They are proflex...you can tell by the lock rings....imo....the remotes are rubber not braided on proflex...they are cranked for additional camber where the casing goes into the hub....

Grp N Fronts about £500 - £600 new....rears about £450 - £550...+ VAT Each IIRC long time since we bought any of that

Regards

Ian

Thx. It's only very amateur event. I'm moderator of forum.subaru.pl and so I am invited to Subaru meet orginised by Subaru Import Poland. They have a rally here. Last year we one one of the prizes in a Cossie but clutch failure robbed us of podium. This year I must do better It's nice to be one Cosse against lets say... 40 STI's
