I have just found my calculator used on somebody else's website with not even a bloody mention of thanks

didn't even email me to say did i mind (which i don't) and i know they know its mine as they put a link on another website with my name on it

if not you wont be able to take any leagal action...

still, a bit of common courtesy wont go amiss.

i honestly don't mind em using it....just a bit of courtesy would be nice

i recieved an email from a bloke the other day in australia saying could i go more in depth about an article i had written.........i wrote a base list for a couple blokes in the uk to help em set there engines up...........bloody thing ends up as a tech feature in an australian karting mag............least they had the decency to publish my name though

 

If you wrote it... its your copyright!!!

Just because its on the web DOES NOT make it public dsomain!

Ask them to either credit you or remove it from their webiste

yep it does in a way.........and i honestly have no probs with them using it if they credit me for it..........after all it was written to benefit karters after all..........and hopefully that is what it is doing

the australian article was cool though......i promised to help the guy if he sent me a copy of the mag (which he did) and the title reads
