Time to swap the BMW.... but for what ? Suggestions please !
Work is cutting off our fuel allowance and i don't fancy forking out over £300 a month on fuel.... So new car time....
Required Spec....
Economical (at least better than the BMW)
Quick ish
Under 2.0 (16v ok)
Don't mind 4 doors
Price under 4k
Reliable
Nice to drive
Anyone got any recommendations ?

i have a Laguna 2000 1.8 16v RT Sport, I get 400 miles to £40 fuel, nice and comfy electric everything (sunroof, mirrors etc aircon blah blah) comfy car, not the fastest car but comfy enuff, bloody enourmous boot, I fitted 4 17" alloys with tyres in the boot and didnt even have to remove the parcel shelf
