Ive been everywhere from pretty poor to really quite comfortable financially over the years in an up and down random cycle, but TBH i disagree with what you are saying, when ive had enough income to just click my fingers and buy something its not something you enjoy as much as saving up and buying something, the looking forward to getting things is most of the pleasure i reckon.

Having been in all sorts of circumstances financially i can honestly say that money doesnt really bring me much happiness, friends and family are far more likely to do that, no amount of money spent is quite the same as having a laugh with my little nephew and seeing him happy etc.

Saying that though, id hate to ever have to worry about paying the bills again, i think a certain amount of money makes you happy, but any more than that doesnt really make much difference.

 

To me that is a proper millionaire, cash there to prove, none of this
"well i got this thats worth this an blah blah"

my old boss honestly had a saving issue and so as a way of sorting him self a back up plan for his business he bought house to rent and when hes shop wasnt makign as much he would have the rent from the flat to sort it and he would always have cash to sell if needed, he started off buying a house in stoke newington from the council and gutting it ect and then bought another and another and another as well as opening up a few more stores too

he never had more that a grand in the bank of his and had most of his rent from flats paying the morgages ect and he worked 7 days a week !!!!!!!, he got diagnosed with cancer and so decided he would look at his life and take it easy and spend time with his family ( should actually call it a army, 8 kids he had !!!!!)


anyway he sold the shops he owned and decided to live off his flats rent as they was all payed for


dont know how much money hes got but he owns 30 houses in stoke newington and a few more around surounding areas

wonder what hes income is now per week

anyway all he and his famliy do is go on holidays all year round to relive bordom


hes not a nasty person and never set out to be rich, he just wanted to have enough money to have a beer at the end of a days work

I no 2 people who were in top 20 of richest people in britain,one is richest in hampshire . And i can say they still work and one had a stroke last year due to stress. Being a millionaire isnt always good. Just makes debts bigger and pressures even more but you do have alot of friends
