i've just got off the phone from demon tweeks because i wanted some sub frames for me cobra's and the guy said that i just need adapter bars to put on my seats and then on the original subframes and proceeded to say that cobra don't make subframes for xr2i's they only make adapter bars ... I said ok but the guy from larkspeed just told me they sell them for £90 each he said nah he's making it up so i ended up getting them adapter bars for £35 for a pair instead of £180 for a pair. ideally i would of got a new set of sub frames but not at £90 quid a pop so there gonna have to do for now. has anyone had tailor made subframes because thats the route im thinking of going down next or do you think them adaper bars are safe enough for fast road use lol

 

you can get the adapter bars for £20 a pair, properly fitted they are safe, all they are is a flat steel bar with a number of holes drilled into them. you will be gutted when you open the box and realise what you paid £70 for

 

nah mate i only paid £35 for the paid inc p&p as long as there safe thats all im bothered about. just need me roll cage then to hook the harnesses up to
