Dingy - your car would probably do an average top speed, and an average quarter, cos it's designed for track.
Rod's car would probably do an average lap of Donno, because it;s designed for top speed.

Hi
Been working on the motor today so missed this little lot.
A couple of point if being very confident & mega competative & achieving what i set out to do is being arragant , then im guilty. I only ever quote facts about my car that have been proved not talk.
I am guilty however of winding up the NMS idiots that do Karls name no good. They set out from day one to discredit & be-little what my car had achieved. One of these Morons actually had a sticker on his car at an event I attended claiming the Topspeed record was 220mph by NMS, they started this aggro & believe me I will finish it.
As for my 198.5 it remains my PB & this year i will achieve 200mph be assured.
Why was it 2 up, well it was my first run down Brunters & I had no idea of when I needed to brake. Mark forced me to keep my foot-in with shouts of " Hard on it "
well past the point i thought death was nigh. Im proud to have keep my foot-in till he said brake. On my own that would have been a 200mph run no doubt. WHEN YOUVE DONE IT you can comment not before.
Thanks for the kind comments from people who know me. The under achieving no-hopers from NMS will have to eat my s**t for a few more months yet.

Lets make this topic more interesting....Dingy why dont you get your master (Karl) to go up against Rod in his 220mph rocket???????..........He was quick enuff to challenge me....but was that because he aint confident enuff to mix with a proper tuned car? Serious question.

Makes me laugh when someone has a go at Rod for not driving his car @ 200mph, when they haven't been anywhere as fast (at brunters), let alone owned a car that's capable of such top speed.
Rod, when you reach 200mph in the driving seat, you can bet your bottom dollar that if mark is quicker you still won't hear the end of it

Rod,
Mark did the same with me at over 180 in the wet. I couldn't see where I had to brake, only done two laps before, one with Dave Moore driving, one with me driving with Mark with the det gear on,then did my one and only top speed run @ 181.5mph. I shit out. Braked when I thought we were going to die. To much talk goes on here, very little action to back it up!!
