thinking of selling the escort cossie

Gus
to be honest i would have an Escort but like Mike said there are boundries that you have to stick to ... if you can afford proper diffs and a proper gearbox your laughing
to be honest i couldn't afford to lay out proper money for 4wd gearbox/front diff/rear diff they are mega money
i have been in 330/400 bhp 4wds no offence they are good of the mark, but after 2nd gear ..they don't feel as fast to a Rwd with same power on the move
it's up to you Gus only you can decide

I have a Series 3 Landy with a 300TDi engine conversion...more power than the old 2.25 petrol I had in it before and it's a pretty good engine. Easy maintenence as well. Landy only gets used off road though
1990-1994 is the 200TDi engine (launch of the original Disco and the engine was also used to replace the 2.5TD in the Defender), 1994-1999ish is 300TDi. After that it's mainly TD5s (BMW engines)...just don't go there!

Had a feeling you wouldn't like the Escort Gus!
Never liked them myself hence never owned one either.
Used to hate saffs and although i still think they are no 'oil painting' neither am i so more bang for my buck
