i wouldnt like it either tbh,,,, you can buy pressure isolators so you dotn have too

myself i like electronic gauges,,, the spa range is lovely

I had the racetech gauge in my previous car for years. I never had a problem with the oil pressure line coming into the car, but the capillary for the oil temp gauge did eventually give up the ghost and stop working.

Mine had 2 pipes, the capillary was hard wired into the back of the gauge, and then screw into a boss into my redrilled sump plug drain hole. The pressure gauge wire screwed into the back of the gauge and into a t piece by the factory sender/switch.

As posted above u can get isolators, that are basicaly fluid in, rubber diafram then glycol, water out, ideal for fuel pressure, where you wouldnt
want fuel runing into the car, dont see why you couldnt use one for oil press
