Default Aston martin Brembo Info needed from brake peeps,

Hi Guys,

A while ago a mate sorted this out for me, He only had the one,
Would you know of where to source one the same or at least the same model as i'd like to possibly use it on a project fiesta i'll be doing! Would you know of a ball park price at all? it is radial mount rather than conventional and the only code / number i can see on it is
1 A
20.8427.04.

It is 10 & 3/4" long ( longest point ) and is 5 & 3/4" wide, it's 4 pot and the brake pipe fitting is in the centre.

Thanks if you can shed some light.

Cheers, Gary.

I'm 99% sure its the front caliper off a DB9

I've got one at work i've been using for 'measurment purposes', should have a set going on my Gti-R soon

I could check those numbers for you on monday if you want?

I'll have a look at the one at work tomorrow and let you know

As for price, havent got a clue I suppose you could go to Aston and get completley shafted for one Or keep an eye on ebay or something like that.

Here you go:

The number on the caliper i've got is nearly the same.

1A

20.8427.03

I assume the 03 on the end is possibly the year of manafacture as the one you've got says 04

This one is definatly the front caliper from a DB9, its 280mm high, 150mm wide, and the gap in the body of the caliper where the pistons are is 65mm

The pad IS the same......

You have a few options here, all of these vehicles are fitted with a pad that will fit that caliper, you could use:-

Alfa Romeo 166 (Brembo Caliper)
Alfa Romeo GT Coupe (Brembo Caliper)
Alfa Romeo 159 (Brembo Caliper)
Alfa Romeo Brera (Brembo Caliper)
Alfa Romeo Spider (Brembo Caliper)
Citroen C8 (Brembo Caliper)
Peugeot 607 / 807 (Brembo Caliper)
Volvo S60 / V70 (Brembo Caliper)
Ford GT
Mitsubishi EVO 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
Subaru Impreza (Brembo Caliper)
Volkswagen Touareg (Brembo Caliper)
Range Rover Sport (Brembo Caliper)

There are plenty of aftermarket companies selling this pad.
