Default a question for you bufty types, best wheel arch liner cleaner

i've washed them several times but they still look dirty, there are also some rusty patches in the plastic that i can't get rid of

so what's the go to plastic arch cleaner to go for then?

or are there a vast array of them for several hundred pounds a ml?

thanks

When i did mine i used warm soapy water (washing up liquid) then when dry brake cleaner (lifted the tar) finished off with autoglym bumper & trim gel.

G101 is good stuff, I park under trees sadly and the sap covers my car this time of year -wear gloves when you use it and don't get it on your brand new Gazelles, it' fucks the suede!

the soapy water did a good deal of lifting of the dirt, but i had to give it several attempts at it

the plastic though seems to have got lighter in places and darker in others so i'll give that 101 stuff a go

as long as i don't need a machine to stick it on?
