Default Help needed

Evening all

I wonder if you guys, could help me out.
I have a Mk3 Series 1 Rs Escort turbo..
Which I'm restoring.
I've purchased a clutch kit on eBay.
Which now has got my head spinning thinking it could be a counterfeit borg+beck
I've paid for it but it's not been delivered yet so still have time to turn it around if not genuine.
Could you guys please let me know your thoughts it would be much appreciated.

Many thanks D

It’s very hard to tell but the clutch disc doesn’t look like the standard of ap or Borg and beck unless it’s an old design, the pads that I’ve seen on the newer style are a dark grey almost black.
looking at the feedback though the seller does sell some fake car parts, unfortunately in this day an age everything gets copied ,some are brilliant but for mechanical items you really want genuine if your keeping the car.

Many thanks for this information. I was thinking the same.
Somethink just not right. When checking the part number nothing was coming up. Like yourself the Style looks off key.
