Default Turbo failure and contact on cold side.

Got a k04 here for a project, loads of play in turbo, I can hear slight contact when pushing towards the cold side, I think it’s only minimal as the blades look ok, and so does the snail, i know the cold side is fairly precise, is this salvageable or will it need replacement?

I've only just picked it up but I got it cheap, sold as working still though, so don’t know it’s history or haven’t heard it running.

any advice appreciated, thanks.

edit: what makes it harder is the fact the inlet is a 90* bend so I can’t just check by eye, writing this though I’ve remembered that I do have an inspection camera.

edit: edit: I will be fitting a new core obviously I wasn’t going to try and fit it as is
