I’m furious about it there lucky I can’t find out who it was! I got the car cheap insurance say it’s beyond economical repair. Minus by back and xs I get 2100 to fix it. I need drivers wing front bumper panel behind bumper and then have it painted

I feel your pain, what winds me up is when I think how a car had survived X amount of years since leaving the factory, then come into my ownership in totally original condition and some bellend decides to drive into it!
I assume there was no CCTV?

Why not just buy them in the correct colour rather than paint ?

What colour?

There's a PFL wing

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-FRONT...UAAOSwr2tc-Q8A

Support structure (says facelift but not sure if this is the same as PFL)

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MK2-Focus...4AAOSwM8Nci8ph

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Focu...cAAOSwJHZdMYTA

PFL but not sure if ST. Your part will have a number on it to check.

If I’m honest the wing is the last worry as a brand new one is 111 quid. If I can’t get a black bumper then it needs painting anyway and the bonnet needs painting due to stone chips. So if a pre painted wing doesn’t quite match then it will need painting as well

marks breaking a fair few 225s these days and posts nearly anything as I dont even post bumpers as major pain in the ass, just noted the silver bumper sold as 225 bumpers sell super fast

Cunts aren’t they! I’ll get the car back with 2 grand so although it will now have a mark against it on the register I’ll fix it get the bonnet painted as its stone chipped while the wing and bumper are painted. Fit lowering springs and have the wheels refurbished and have change. I don’t really have the time right now and I’m very pissed off about it but I’ll probably do a better job than any commercial body shop my insurance would send it to!!!

I know how you feel on this mate. So hard to find I'm looking for driver side wing too in electric orange as no one seems to be able to colour match

Most breakers tell me 95% of wings will have rot on them. I’m dubious about a ready painting new one off eBay as it won’t match my old paint. But I can get a new ford one via work for 111 quid

In there black protective coating. I’m told they all rust along the lip at the bottom

Cheers Glenn. In reality it wasn’t really worth spending the money on but I do really like the car. Had the fog light inserts painted black as well. It will go to paint shop in a few weeks so they can polish the bonnet and wing on the car. They have polished them but said it’s not ideal doing them on a stand. There paint the bonnet as well. I’ve a grand left out the money so as it’s not money out of my bank or savings I’ll get the wheels re done and fit some eibach springs.
