Any Engineers?
Hi,
I am looking for recommendations for someone who can fabricate pistons and provide seals for a brake master cylinder.
The car is an old Toyota MPV/van and the M/C is NLA, nor are the repair kits.
I'm really struggling to find someone, which seems crazy as for an Engineering firm, this must be a simple job.
Anyone have any recommendations, please?

I found a fantastic engineer in Nottingham. Johndavies@fastlathe.co.uk
he likes his cars. Drop him an email he might be able to help

Thanks, Jon.
At least someone replied!
I bought a second hand M/C which of course is not ideal, it was either that or scrap the vehicle, which is absurd over a part.
I will bear your contact in mind, one of the pistons would need fabricating (or existing one repairing but even then it would still need seals.)

Send a message to Marc Kinsey of Kinsey motorsport (guy with the grey fiesta mk6 cossie converted) he has started his own business and I see him posting on Facebook asking if anyone needs custom machining work done.

Fabricating a piston would be easy assuming you have the old one.
Seals would be up to you to source from another master cylinder, dealer, re-con specialist or whatever. I doubt any random engineering place would do that routinely unless they were actually some sort of brake specialist.
