Default Zetec conversion parts

Doing a Zetec conversion on a MK2 XR2 and need some parts.
Remember years ago you could get anything you wanted no probs but everything seems thin on the ground now!
I'm after a cvh efi flywheel & clutch and a Zetec 4 branch manifold.
Can anyone help me out?

Zetec parts are getting slim pickings what with the age, kitcars, other rwd ford stuff and a lot of the banger racing moving from pinto to zetec.
The cvh efi flywheel is particularly rare. You would have more luck with the standard 1.8 Zetec flywheel and clutch and that should work for you just the same.
If your looking for a fwd manifold the st170 manifold is cheap, flows well and is easy to modify.

Pretty sure you can use a Focus zetec 1.8 flywheel.

If you are on Facebook try Dwayne Maiden.

Or the Home built drag strip banter page.

The engine is out an escort si cabriolet 130 spec.
Gearbox on it isn't a BC box.
Will the flywheel and clutch from that work with a BC box?

Grant iirc the 130 specs had a mtx box so I don't think you can use the flywheel and clutch with the BC or IB5. When I went from BC box to MTX I had to fit flywheel and clutch to match.

From what I can gather the rs turbo cvh clutches fit the flywheels for zetecs that had the IB5

130ps spec did have the mtx75 and used the 240mm fly and clutch the same as the 2.0 Mondeo.

Thought as much, so I defo need a cvh efi flywheel.
Any of you know if a non efi cvh clutch would work on an efi flywheel?
Say an XR2 or mfi rst clutch? I seem to remember they are a different size?

All the 1.8's accept the 130ps had the smaller 220mm flywheel.
The 1.6 silvertop is the same part the latter 1.6 zetec se is totally different.

The cvh efi flywheel is like finding unicorns and only has a tiny weight saving.

Ideal mate thanks for the info!
Wish I'd kept my efi flywheel, would be worth a fortune now 😂

Not really as there is no real gain over the Zetec and with the cvh you have to drill it out from 10mm to 11mm to fit.

Can anyone tell me if I can remove the pats system on this or does it all need to be retained?
I know you get internal and external pats but unsure which one this is?

That’s a 130 ps ecu. Escort / Orion I am pretty sure it won’t be pats.

The body control / alarm unit cuts the earth to various circuits to Immobilise it. That’s going to be the black box with the wires all the same colour.

Pats is dead easy , you can’t bypass it but its very easy to use and you get obd2 so you can see what the engine is doing on your phone.

Escort, Focus Rs even the 3.0 Mondeo st220 it all works the same way.
