TLDM carb
Hi
Does anyone know what jets are typical for this 28/32 carb in a1.6 CVH installation? I bought the carb from ebay and stripped it before use. It runs fine until I open the throttle suddenly when it stalls. Gradual throttle is OK . Accelerator pump is good. I've checked for air leaks and tried plugging the vacuum hoses, no improvement. Stalling happens without the secondary choke opening. Is the idle jet part of the casting? It idles nicely with 4-5 turns out on the mixture screw, so are there different sizes of these? . Tag is stamped 87 SF AB A 2568. It's on a kit car so closer to fiesta than escort weightwise. Help!
