Default Escort rs turbo adjustable rear link

Hi guys I'm looking at making the rear adjustable linkage. Does anyone have any measurements for it. And where they got the parts from.

Most of the hardware can be bought from rally design. Look up a guy on here and drop him a pm, muz is his name. I built mine years ago and got the measurements straight from MEF. Lost the drawing many years ago now. Transformed the handling but made the car hard and noisy

I made some a while ago. made a simple jig using a bit of box section and threaded bar to replicate a rear with bone and used used nuts to work out spacer sizes pretty simple to do.

I do still have some drawings BUT when I was making them I kept tweaking the measurements until I got them perfect and now I cant remember for the life of me what ones of my drawings are correct and what ones aren't so I could end up giving you the wrong ones lol.

The car is in my mates body shop for paint but hes doing it on the side so he might have it a few weeks or a few months. Il post up the drawings I have but like I said take them with a pinch of salt as I cant say for sure if they are the correct ones.

Had a load of thick washers made to sit on the outside of the rose joints to allow them to move freely

This drawing corresponds to the arms below. The 9mm spacers are used to slot inside the cone fitting to stop it crushing when boltimg a rose joint onti the side of it

Thats all the pictures and measurements i have but like i said they might not be my final drawings (im pretty sure they are) and they might not be 100% correct for your car/ setup so id recommended you use them as a reference rather than copy them exactly.

You can buy all the relevant rose joints and threaded inserts from McGill motorsports. Left and right hand thread. Saves a fortune

that's who i used for all mine but was pretty shocked how quickly they've started to wear out, my rears all have play in them and could do with being replaced

I’ve never had a problem with them. I do buy the expensive stuff though. There are a few levels of quality. Mind you I didn’t do many miles as the ride was so harsh.

I used there ultra high performance ones (there top spec ons) and they lasted about 800 - 1000miles max on the road, I know they are not best suited for road use but expect them to last longer then that.

is there anywhere else I can get them from? I don't want to be replacing them every 1000miles
