Hi I've got a mk5 rs 2000 engine . It's got a big k&n on it slightly bigger exhaust . Is there any more for a bit more power ? Can I get it mapped being a mk5

I would have thought you could ask MSD if it can be chipped or mapped but normally aspirated is not going to give up much I wouldn’t expect. Conventional tuning would be cams (if pistons allow) free flowing head and inlet. I expect a rev limit increase would allow a bit with the above if Engine allows but you will spend big money to get real gains and forced induction will be costly too.

throttle bodies and cams will no doubt improve it but that’s a lot of dosh including evertything.
