A couple of days ago, I was working in the workshop and a red robin flew in. I first thought, bugger, how am I going to get the little rascal out, only to find it made its way out on its own through a broken glass pane in the door at the back of the workshop.
Went in the workshop tonite, and as I switched the light on, I heard little squeaky noises inside the workshop...
A little puzzled, I had a look at where the noise was coming from, and guess what I found.....
Turns out the bird has setup his/her home in between tins of paint on one of the shelves. in the nest are a couple of babies, maybe more, didn't want to get too close to see for fear of scaring their mum away.
As I was working tonite, the mum came in and out a couple of times with food for them, not really worried about me.

I am now wondering how the little 'uns will turn out though, thing is, I've been busy prepping and spraying a splitter in there since the week end.
I hope they won't come out with three legs and a missing wing
cos I don't have any extraction facilities for the fumes

Awww...... frog showed me the little babies last night.... they sooooo cute....
It was dark so they were sleeping, and as we switched the lights on, one just poked its head out... not too sure wether it was morning or not! Was quite funny!!
If I find little prints on my splitter, I'll know where they coming from now!!
