Default Confirmation of wiring for Focus RS air temp sensor

I'm going to replace the standard Ford intake air temperature sensor in a MK1 Focus RS with a new sensor from Omex
The wiring instructions for the new sensor say
Pin 1 - Sensor out
Pin 2 - Sensor earth
I think the wires for the standard sensor are
Sensor out - white stripe/violet
Sensor earth - brown/white stripe
Anyone able to confirm this?
If I put a multi meter on the wiring will the sensor out wire (white/violet) show 12v?

There are two air temperature sensors on the Frs, one in the maf and the one in the elbow.

Pin outs and wire colours here,

Edit, pins 37 + 39 both are white with a violet trace.

Not running a MAF so that's out of the equation
but if the white and violet is the signal wire then that confirms how I need to wire it thanks
