I didn't think you could launch these? I had the preformace for the day and couldn't do it? Did the same for my RS3 but it didn't wanna know?

It's definately stock I did 0-100 in 8.7 which is exactly what Audi say they do, it's a heavy car even at 700 hp it's only 350 per ton

I think I said about my next door neighbour with his twin turbo V8 CLS. It has a straight through exhaust and sounda just like this. My windows shake and the kids shit themselves every time he starts it up. Thank God the cunt has got his house on the market

I've got the vbox here all Ive left in the gtr is power cable so I've ordered another one tonight, will be able to get before and after map times now

I've got the racelogic performance box, great tool, was looking at my gtr plots last night found a 60-130 mph pull in 5 seconds dead

That pull I think was with 50% ethanol in aswell so nigh on 1000 hp

Anything 0-100 with an 8 in it is quick. It is bonkers that you can get a production car, put the auto box in drive, floor it and produce a consistent result like that.

That's one of the things that amazes me about these new cars, my gtr and the missus Q7 are the same aswell, I know there ABIT disconnected from the driving experience compared to the old cossies and skylines but there just so quick all the time, I would have to proper wrestle my old 580 hp R32 gtr to get a 8 second 0-100 lol

But for all out bonkers lunacy nothing has compared to my old supra that thing was lairy

Picked the car up today switchable maps by MRC, 576 ps stock, 691ps 1000nm on the new map

The mid range grunt is hugely changed it leaps of at 70 mph nailing it, very impressed will get some vbox pulls in due coarse to see what the actual, the bum Dyno says it's considerable, I think over 1 second will be out of the 0-100

3.6 0-60, 7.6 0-100 mph so exactly 1 second gain no launch just In drive and nail it

Just been reading about launch the car, apparently it doesn't have an actual launch mode, it's just a case of turning esp off, left foot brake and just hold to about 2500 rpm then lift off brake and floor throttle simultaneously

I shall have to try it to see how low that 7 sec to 100 will go

The hp figure was as expected 562 upto 681, but the torque has gone from 516 lbft to 738 lbft !
It's got as much torque now as the missus V12 Q7 had standard and that's a 6.0 litre V12 diesel

I did listen to an rs7 that was at MRC, stage 3 with open downpipes and resonated milltek for 730 hp, but it was to loud for me, I must be getting old lol

738lbft...my god that is a huge wodge of torque, that coupled to a modern fast swapping and closely stacked auto box is why it is so fast to 100. I think my 205 MAY be able to do it in a similar time but you can imagine the hard work and drama to get it there.....you could have the shipping in the back or a dog (stuck to the back window)

It's on par with a dodge hellcat now which is what I was looking at potentially before buying the Audi, it's a heavy beast at 2 ton with me in it, but that torque sure does give it a hell of a mid range push, IL get a shot of the Dyno plot and add it

My 710 hp r33 gtr was in the low 7s to 100 but it was extremely difficult to do, my 9 year old daughter could do a 7 in the Audi lol

got the runs in the vbox software today.
0-115 mph, stock 11.9 seconds, mapped 10.4 seconds.
I would hope about 0.6 seconds to come out of the that with a launch, plus it is extremely hot atm which will be sapping power aswell.


ive overlayed a plot of each, big dip in the middle of the stock map, ive had no gearbox software revisions only engine so I assume they have cleared a flat spot it had
whatever it is the whole curve is far more linear now very little variations, anyone with an audi id recommend mrc for a tune the car feels totally different it feels like a very quick car now to drive

I'm not sure, English guy talked me through the switchable maps so I assume it was Doug, I've been very impressed by them car was even valeted was spotless when I picked it up

I will get them to take a look at my TT as it has an early tune from 2002 And since then someone swapped to a different turbo, it is bad on fuel and they normally are good with a decent map.
