Cosworth Headlamp wiper blades
Anyone know where you can buy these from as I dropped the motor yesterday when removing it and broke the plastic clip that holds the blade on the arm.
When you buy the blades is the clip part of it or is that a separate part ?
Have had a quick Google and it would seem these are hard to get hold unless Ford still sell them.
Any tips on where to find them would be much appreciated

I think like most Cosworth parts now they are no longer available from Ford. I managed to get my hands on one side complete, the arm, the blade and the washer jet and I paid iirc around £63 delivered. I sold it on eBay for £85 posted so by the time I posted it, eBay and PayPal had their fees/cut of it I was lucky if I earned a £10 note on it.
There was a seller on eBay a while ago selling just the washer jets for iirc about £40 a pair might be worth a search on there, other than that it’s a matter of sourcing second hand ones.

It's the plastic clip that holds the blade on to the arm that broke so only need the clip which I thought might have come on a new blade but it seems it's not part of the blade.
I have a mate at Volvo main dealer who said he might be able to match it up.

The plastic clip that holds the blade to the arm is actually the washer jet, so when trying to acquire one ask for a washer jet
On eBay but as I said £40 the pair

Mid-90s Saab 93 wiper arms and blades fit perfectly. I have these on mine and other than being slightly more aero styled (think bit like Granada ones) they are identical, but with the added bonus of a decent washer jet.

Think I have managed to bond the side on the clip the broke off back on as it was a clean break and didn't affect the jet side of it so will give it a day or so to cure properly then see if it stays in one bit when clipping it back together.
Will still try and find a new one to replace it with.

I recently bought some parts for a Sierra Estate for a guy in Seattle and went to the biggest Ford Spare Parts department in the South.Huge place but when I asked if they still had any Sierra, Sapphire or Escort Cosworth parts the answer was no. On their system it just says contact the owners clubs.

The blades themselves were being sold by Sierra R Us, think they were about £35 when I purchased a pair from them, that was probably not far off 2 years ago though. I think as mentioned above they sell the washer jets or at least they were a while back.
Check their website but expect to pay Cossie tax.
