1800TDCi glow plugs

Looking to change the glow plugs in my C-Max (as above) - got new Bosch ones but they appear to have unique codes on the boxes, do they need coding to the ECU to replace ?

I don't think the glow plugs need codeing. I've never coded a set of glow plugs into a vehicle.

I think the glow plug near the pump is a bit of a chew to replace of I remember rightly.

I normally end up dropping one of the 7mm nuts. The tricky one is the gearbox end. Usually take the breather pipes and dipstick tube out to make it easier.
