Mk3 Escort XR3i Earth point

I have had fitted a new battery tray to my 1983 XR3i, can anyone please remind me or ideally send me a picture exactly where the earth strap from the battery that bolts to the body exactly goes.

unfortunately the lead is not that long, I was thinking the bulkhead or on the top near to the heater intake.

If you are not bothered about originality just clean up some body and bolt it through. Ideally weld it on. I am in Hampshire on Surrey border if you need help.
