Default 2005 ford transit 280 loss of power

Hi jumped into my van tonight after about 10 minutes I seemed to of loss bit of power for split second. Then it was fine then on my return journey it did it again just after starting it and pulling away then further down the road a lack of power for split second then fine any ideas please

Do you get any warning lights on the dash? Mines did similar where it wouldn’t accelerate and had to pull over and turn the engine off and restart it. It was the fuel rail relief valve on mine, pop off your fuel return line and if loads of fuel pisses out and a spring then it’s your valve.

Mines was the mk7 2.2

With any diesel engine I would change the fuel filter.
