Default Cossies on MK5 Fiesta

Hello,

I am trying to get x4 cossie wheels and toyo proxes 195/40 r16 80v for them. I have a MK5 fiesta freestyle 1.25 2002 which at the moment has 14 inch wheels fitted to it (from factory). I have seen many pictures of the Mk5 zetec-s with cossies fitted to them, but not any pictures of them fitted to a fiesta freestyle. I'd like to know if putting cossies on the freestyle would fit just as well as they do on the zetec-s?

Also would i need different wheel nuts, or if the current ones fit flush on the cossies, would they be ok to use?

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I take it your on about escort cossie alloys?? As long as you get the right tyres they should fit. I bet the car will tram line a bit cause the escos wheels are wide. My Old Sierra hatchback used to have them on and that tram lined a bit.

Some wider tyres will follow differences in road surfaces, re-instated repairs or trenches where the road has been dug up and re-tarmacked. It can be a bit scary as it feels like something starts steering the car by itself and making it suddenly pull to the left or right. Not something you want especially if you are pressing on quickly!!

better off with mondeo 7j 5 spokes which look the same and have correct offset as the escos wheels are 8j and et25 which look fine on rear but pants on the front
