Probably one of the best ones available but at £40k it should be!! Funny how things change, years ago these were one of the least desirable Ford cars and you could pick them up for peanuts. Scrap yards were full of them.

I do not think this is an indication of the value of that car, just someone putting a silly price on for attention or to make it look like it is worth more for the auction...I doubt that would even break £15k IMO.
A 205 gti went through an auction recently at £38k....it was 5000 miles and mint but I doubt my grey one would be worth more than £12k

Am now waiting for eBay to be over run with escort cabs at a high premium
Why not put a silly reserve it won't make and see what it goes up to without running it
It's very nice but I'd rather spend 40k on something else

Its a blue spider with 61k miles. Its up for £48k. Its its been there a while and Winter is coming so they may well take forty it you walk in with a briefcase full of folding.
Call 01423 500017 - use a telephone, not a time machine.
I had a good look around it when my Dad was buying his DBS from them. Its straight, not not insurance recorded, though is a left hooker. Perhaps you should stick to forty grand Escorts?
