Dunno about the actual show but there were a lot of posts on facebook from various pages saying getting in was horrendous again.

Glad I didn't go, saved money and got stuff done around the house ready for first childs arrival.

Thought it was quite good today and the weather held out.

took a while getting in and ended up parking in some field after driving down lanes.

good show, seem quite than usual. Shame so many STs and people popping exhausts but track action was ok.

saw a mustang swipe an escort cossie.. not sure if it made contact, anyone know?

Ive seen in instagram that it took some lads 2 hours to get in.

Why dont people just camp then they dont have the stress of queuing to get it

And right on cue is a thread moaning about Ford Fair and Kelsey!!

Getting a bit boring now.

Me and my mates that went had a really good day and had a real good crack!

Yeah ok, it took a little while queuing to get in but hey ho.

The weather was good and there were a few good motors having it out on track. Yes there was quite a lot of modern ST's and RS's but there will be as they're cars from this era but there were quite a number of lovely old school motors too

The sprint thingy wasn't all that though but hey ho, not a big deal!

Getting in was a bit of a faff, the police presence on the roads was high on the way there and coming away including anpr and speed cameras, but it did make my day when the focus rs police (feck you autocorrect) car came through the traffic sirens and lights going while i was waiting to get in.

The trade was a bit naff too (for me anyway) but I'm more about the older stuff

Thought it was a good show again .Would of been happier paying £20 pounds to get in and not had mag and T/shirt, as for getting in drove stright to gate to get in but was 5.45 am but would not let us in till 7am because of something to do with Sunday Trading laws

We camped over the night before. No hassle getting in really. Went round track and was miles better organised than the past experiences. Was a good show and improvement over recent years. Some decent older metal in the sea of mk7 fiestas. Roll on next year

For as long as I can remember, you could easily get in from 6am. (I used to get there at about 6.30am to see loads already there)

This year some bright spark decided that there was no entry by anyone before 7am. The tickets did mention this although it wasn't widely publicized.

So all the people that usually arrive between 6am and 7am had to wait and had already created a 1-2 mile queue before everyone else joined the back of it.

Then the public arrives just before 9 (as usual) they find out they can't get in until 10am.

Anyhoo - we had 30+ Pumas on my stand and all had a great day (once we got in)

I went, getting in was like every year, good hour or so queuing which is pathetic especially with a paddle clutch stopping and starting. We also saw the MK3 FRS police car come through the traffic.
For the show its self i really enjoyed it. there was a good mix of everything and i didnt think it was any quieter this year, seemed packed to me.

gates have always been open from 6
but there were plenty of folks on fb yesterday saying they didn't get in till gone 10 after queuing for hours and hours

it all seems a bit subduded this year for some reason, not as much facebook threads about it either

Been the last 8 years probably one of the best for me. Yeah queued to get in but no surprise. I'd say it's the busiest I've seen it. Although I hate focus st's and mk7 fiestas even more now though haha

i really enjoyed it, had a great drive up the with 30 other focus RSs in convoy cross country, food wasnt too expensive, mrs won a comp to go out with paul swift in a 800bhp mustang and i was able to meet and chat with fords managing director and have something in the pipeline off the back of that.

plenty of bargains in the trade area too, although the queue for mountune was ridiculous all day.

had a great day

try looking on the ford fair fb page or in other clubs pages as most are furious with way more than new entry times and traffic delays, did not effect me as I had a great day at car show in surrey as I knew it would not be as good as hyped

Did anyone take any pictures, or are people too busy moaning about it still?

Can't really understand why people are surprised the police were about. Thousands of young blokes in modified cars who are likely to be showing off or have questionable modifications - why wouldn't they be there?

People moan about this forum not being as busy as it used to, but it didn't have a presence at the biggest Ford show in Europe. Seems mad to me.

I guess two things have killed that off:

facebook being easier to upload to groups or people's own pages.
photobucket being a ripoff as they used to be the easiest way to upload
