That's was what I was meaning mate the golf and Audi where just an example. You tend to buy the classic car that you have childhood memories of, for people in there twenties now, that is probably going to be more modern hot hatches or evos ect.
Like I wouldn't be interested in a historic car with a crank handle and wire spoke wheels, I bet most owners of them will be older, maybe not as old as the car but old enough to remember seeing similar examples on the road.

There are dozens of them about the place though, and I'm not even in the centre of London yet there are plenty of ways to get posh cars, my mates got two Ferraris two porches 5 ducattis and is about to buy a £1.25m house and spent £53k on a convertible Jag the other month because it's cheaper on fuel

to be fair, he works hard for his money and enjoys it, but he's not into his fords
my other mate though,, he's just bought himself a gtr after having the amg and stuff like that, he wanted to get a 3 door a few years back but it was the price of them then and the upkeep, it's an expensive fashion accesory nowadays

They are quite common, parked up at a classic show today opposite this original rs500, on origianl paint, just over 10000miles so less than the auction one, but used to go to a few shows every year.
Was spotless, gotta be the best example of one!
