Before final mapping on the Orion I need to swap the idle valve for a sprung loaded version as the idle has always been hit and miss (high/low)
I think it's currently using the one the engine come out of... 1996 Mondeo 2l silvertop
I'm told the sprung loaded idle valves were fitted to later cars, but that's all I know ( mapper wants to try one for better control )
So presume I need a blacktop version or later... even MK1 Focus RS
Anyone got a later idle valve about they can check, part numbers wold be great
