I've just bought a mk5 fiesta zetec s as a bit of fun. Ive found a wire that runs from behind the dash into the engine bay and ends up with some sort of sensor joined on the end. It's cable tied to a radiator pipe I think behind the lower grill.
any idea what it is for? or why someone would of done this? thanks

Thanks for that, its run round the engine bay in speaker cable. Why would someone do that? Do they normally suffer from wiring issues?
do you know where the sensor normally lives?

Thanks for your help, I'll make an effort to tidy it up or put it back how it should be as it looks stupid as it is now.
here's another one you might be able to help me with?
