Hi guys I have a shopping list of parts I need to get for my Focus st225. The engine is out and in pieces at the moment, and I need a few rebuild parts to get it back together, I know these engines are basically Volvo engines and are in a few different model volvo's, can anyone tell me where the best place is to purchase these parts? I've been looking for ages and the price range between ford and Volvo is ridiculous in some places. I'm after big end bearings first off, followed by head gasket, head bolts, and cam belt and tensioner.

I rebuilt mine with all Volvo parts direct from Volvo. The only thing they didn't list at the time was rod bolts which I got from arp

May be worth contacting dreamscience or one of the other focus specialists too. They do a genuine headgasket kit with liner shims too.

Id definitely recommend fitting them whilst the head is off.
