Default Stack water temp sender

Just had a Stack 52mm water gauge fitted to my cosworth and it goes straight to 120 degrees from cold and stays there is it a faulty water sender unit that came with the gauge I wonder?

Check if you have a good ground (measure resistance) from the side of the sender to the block.

def ground - are you using the sender that came with gauge or your own sender?

I had the sender fitted that came with the 52mm gauge 1/8 bspt

i had the same trouble after trying one of those ye olde £5.99 chinese jobbe and did same thing so i gave up...im no electrician but make sure you use the little washers when straping the ground etc....
