My Fiesta
Hi everyone i'm new to PassionFord so thought i'd start off by sharing my car with you all.
It's a 2001 Ford Fiesta Flight 1.3, and I am its second owner. Previously the car had been owned by an elderly lady since new, and when i bought it had only clocked up 15,000 miles, and hadn't even been on a motorway in its life. The car had been sat for a couple of years so after a bit of a freshen up, it was ready to be used for me to learn to drive in.
Since passing my test i've been all over the place in it and have grown to really enjoy the car, which is still only at just over 20,000 miles
The car on the trailer after buying it
Work began
Having rust removed and parts resprayed. Two years in a garage sat around had unfortunately brought out the rust!!
Spotlamps fitted
A quick service

Hi and welcome to pf. These are a good car. They handle great and are reliable. Its just a shame they rot like fook.
Me and the mrs had a mk5 1.25 16v ghia. It was a cracking car. I bodged the rear arches using a roses chocolate tin cause they were rotton.

The father in law also had one. He wanted a car a few years back. I said dont get a mk5 fiesta cause they rot. He bought one and twice for the mot it needed welding. His fiesta only had 37k on it.
