Hello

I am thinking of buying a second hand car in UK and export it to Belgium where i live but the owner ( seems to be vey honest !) tells me there is a finance on the car.
Is this a problem or fischy ?
How do i proceed ?

Ask him to send an up to date settlement figure directly to you. Pay the settlement figure to the finance company direct and ask for an email detailing that they no longer hold an interest in the car.

Pay the difference if any to the vendor. Job done
