as title replaced parts of the floorpan in my car with panels from donor cars, from your experience what do you use to grind the welds down flush? im using a bosch drill as the angle grinder wont fit in the tight spaces, flappy wheel or a stone wheel (someone mentioned stone wheel)? ebay links below -

For metal removal...flap wheel in the grinder really is hard to beat, and they're easy controlled.
For coarse metal removal, die grinder and carbide bit eats anything
A regular electric drill ? gona take an age for anything.
I also have the power file Mark lists above and it is quite handy. Definitely an option for metal removal if space is tight, but would be very slow especially on steel. But far easier than a hand file. For all the price it is worth having

Weld can be hard if your not a neat welder it must take ages to tidy it with a flapper wheel. Die grinder bit will fix your issues in minutes with an air powered die grinder will take longer with a drill as no matter what speed you have it on it will not spin fast enough

these are allot of people say it the best thing since sliced bread. i got the snapon equivalent i bought mine in 2000. ive used them for removing heads of bolts in tight places even. they dont wear out mines as good as the day i first bought it. the only draw back with them is the chip they produce the like f...ing needles
