Can't you just buy hubcentric wheel spacers? That's what i've fitted to my FRST. 16mm with 195/45/15 tyress. Its clears the suspension nicely and is still plenty of distance from the arches.

There are loads on eBay for the MK5 Fiesta/Puma/Focus. Someone told me that the hub pattern is different to the earlier stuff. I think I am right in saying that the disc brake hub from an Escort will bolt onto a MK3 Fiesta rear axle, but someone told me the Puma/Focus type rear spacers are different. I don't know how true that is. I'd certainly be interested to know, as my Escort has the hubs spaced, but I'd like to be able to tweak it a bit.

Your best to swap to a puma rear beam , wider and you get disc as standard and you can then get the spacers to make it even wider.

16mm isn't to bad you can get 20mm from burton too.
I got 16mm on the FRST and 12mm on the ERST. Obviously you need longer studs to allow the alloys to fit central correctly. I have 60mm studs on both cars and are long enough.
Also mk4 Fiesta rear beam is different.

Dave not Claire.
Ian Howell used to get these made up locally to him years ago back when Fiesta Frenzy was trading. Any local machine shop should be able to knock you some up tho. Whip a stub axle off, take it to a machinist and explain what you want doing. Even diy is possible if your that way inclined and have the tools, Just remember to use the correct grade bolts as you will need longer.

Buy new drums for the price of them. Easy job to smash out the factory fit studs, and get everything ready for a swap over.
I still gotta do my fronts, Thats a caliper and disc of job, then smash out the old studs while its jacked up, and turn the hub as i remove/fit them otherwise it'll be a hub of job at the front too.
