Default Aim pista dash

I've got the chance of an Aim pista dash. Has anyone got any experience with them?

Im using an AIM strada MXL road going dash unit, ive a link cable direct from my Autronic ecu so it should see everything ecu does, other than that im having to setup the road signal idiot lights which i'll splice from the original loom

I have the uprated loom and also went separate AIM oil pressure sensor and fuel pressure sensor straight to dash

I also plan on fitting the AIM wideband which is again direct on dash display

Just need to get it all wired up which im not looking forward to, if i struggle i'll pass it onto MAD for setting up

That's the set up I'll be looking at. With the extra oil temp/pressure wheel speed sensor and ecu loom to my sm4

Aim are very good even thou I've never owned one , I've looked over there products at autosport show and had a long chat the there tech guys . Super build quality and the can bus interface allows you to buy the module i.e. Pectel and you just use a jack plug Like on a guitar and the dash will read all the data from the ecu and display on screen . The only thing you need to setup are speed sensor . It can run loads of external sensors along side the module so you could run x2oil pressure gauges one for backup etc.
The only thing that put me off was the price , Ł1000 when you can buy a dash 2 for around Ł750 with all the bells and whistles and the interface module. The aim is large in screen size so the choice is yours. You can have a motec dash , pectel etc they are all nice digital dash boards

Cheers paul

Its just the extra fuel pressure and oil pressure i have, my loom only has 8 extra outputs so i need some of those for the road signals also

Had one, didn't rate it, sold it.

Nowhere near enough physical pages or data sets per page, was a nightmare. The Dash2 Pro is in its place, much better and easier to use.

that's mine. Nice bit of kit, especially with the GPS module to do lap times etc.
