Was a great turnout with nearly 20 cars, sorted loads of stuff out, a few new members, at the end some of us left and went to teeside retail park,on the way one car an RST decided to throw a rod out of the block!!
had only just run the car in after a previous rebuild, owner wasn't too unhappy about it tho!! he wanted more power anyway!!










conrod removed from top of starter!!!


1 very knackered engine!!

Beefy wasnt to upset about the rod ,just what Karl dont need though .He has so much to do and wants to get his own car sorted too

Needs a bit of setting up but it makes all the right noises

As for my Track job. It a LHD XR4i 3 door. Just needs some more horses under the bonnet. It was going to get a 2.9 V6 Twin Turbo, But I like the pinto turbo now
So a bit more fab work and it will be Twin Turbo but on a pinto
Oh did i say its a mk2

This is soft uk one all 1993cc of it. Just made up a manifold and dropped a T3 on

The 2.3 doesn't go into the Escort without chopping loads of the metalwork away.
Its a better motor, the US lot get 600bhp from them. And more if a Volvo 16v head is fitted.

Thats cos i was actually pushing you. Thats not the side with the fooked strut top is it? Think you'd hear the wheel bearing,one of mine was goosed on the saff,used to vibrate like a twat going round a bend.
