So it has never been below freezing up North where you live? There is no way your engine would survive with just plain water in it. Why do you think everyone else has anti-freeze in theirs? It does not just stop it freezing but keeps the water ways clean and rust free.
You have got to be winding me up as its such a basic requirement for a car engine along with oil, clutch and brake fluid!!!!!!!!

According to him in our " mild "climate none of us need waste our money on anti-freeze as plain water is fine!!!!!! That is why is engine is loosing water all the time, I bet his block has already got a crack in it!!!!!! All the liquid metal in the world will not fix it!!!!!

just drink it and time how long you last then we'll be able to work out if it was diluted or not.
