Default Sapph 2wd focus RS rims what tyre size?

Just offered up my rims and doesn't seem like there will be much clearance on the shock so what tyre sizes do you use?
Ideally I'd like 215/35/18 as the best choice in tyres, 30 profile I'll be restricted, had to clear AP6 pots so although I'm not over keen on the rim it was an easy choice.

Not much clearance because the wheels are the wrong offset, your only option is a spacer or get the right wheels.

215.35.18 i was running on mine. But tbh it did not drive as nice. I was on Toyo's.

No rubbing on std ride height and koni's

Yeh its a bit tight between the tyres and the shocker spring cups. Mines had no issues with rubbing in all the time they have been on the car.

215/35/18s matey. I bet the wheels have been on the car nearly 5 years now with no issues.

Ive seen a few saffs with the focus rs wheels on. What i did to mine was fit 10 mm wheel spacers cause the rear wheels looks a bit lost in the arches.

Was just concerned with the front shock tower clearance, and having arches rolled but if they fit with 35 profile that's good enough for me cheers

Any decent motorsport 17" rim should clear the caliper on the inside of the spokes at et35 offset.

His is a 4x4 so the offset is different to your 2wd. I wouldn't fit any wheel with this offset to either of mine personally, I don't mind the RS wheels but they simply don't look right because of the offset.

The offset is fine, any further in I'll catch on lock, further out the wheels will stick out of the arches, i don't need lessons on it just what tyres people use on these rims, going to try the 215 35 18 anyway see how I get on

They definitely drive better on 17's, fitting the tyres this week so I'll see how I get on

215/35/18 ET35 with Koni's, Ahmeds. AP 6 pot with 362mm discs and 4wd offset. I had to move the weights on the wheels to clear the caliper.

2WD you can get 378 under 18's or 362 under 17's as the disc runs further back.

The gap on the shock cup is 5-6mm
