I have never seen a red Saff in the flesh, I guess it must be a pretty rare colour? Radiant red? Original paint?

 

Its part of the Vibration system that's unique to this car. Lots of time & development on this & a chunk of my money its taken from aero engines technology. That is the only part that Mark will let me show its really just a special front rattler with mods. If this system works im sure Mark will tell everyone whats been done. It does away with a girdle by stopping the problem not just moving it to a different frequency.

I would like to go to Ford Fair some time, but I haven't gone there yet. Maybe this year, I'll see what happens. At least we have the EFE (European Ford Event) here in Holland, where I go most of the years. But i guess Ford Fair would be a lot better though.

When I went to Classic Ford at Santa Pod earlier in the year there were 2 Ford Sierras from Holland and the owners were staying in the same Hotel as me. Friendly people and they said they go every year.

Koni shocks, Ahmed springs and anan adjustable rear beam mate, the beam lifted it slightly at the rear, seemed to work well tho

Oo that's a good question James lol, 2 years ago yes without question but probably not now tbh, the 3dr is way more useable with it being more sensibly specced. Can I just have both instead?? Lol

Sometimes we overspec and overspend on our cars to the point the enjoyment is taken away.

Yeah totally agree James, i quite like being able to just get the 3dr out and go for a relatively stress free drive lol, whereas when I went out in the sapph I was watching the doormat for the next couple of weeks expecting a speeding fine or something haha.

Was good fun tho 😀

What spec was your saph? Were you running 8 injectors?

 

Yeah it was mate, old skool touring car spec pretty much, proper T4 , rs500 plenum, 8 injectors, headwork, bd15 & 16 cams, low comp etc, straight cut dog box etc etc

 

My old Crystal Blue saph. Long gone now sadly.

 

Totally awesome Karl, love the look and the spec even more..lol. I can totally relate to the stress of a big spec in comparison to a sensible spec'd cossie as you put it.
Imagine still having the sapp and the 3dr, dreamland ey, would be amazing.
