ANYONE help with MAF problems?? 1.8 TDCi
First time posting guys, so.. Hi
Bought a 2006 Ford Focus II 1.8 Tdci last week, was driving a dream all of a sudden, turbo gone, power loss.. Struggling to accelerate at startup, Changed the turbo hose pipe. Problem persists.. Eventually get a EML on, got my OBD2 reader on it and it told me the MAF sensor or circuit is malfunctioning. Took the maf out and have it a clean, since cleaning and putting back in, I can now accelerate and turbo kicks in until about 3000rpm, then goes quite limp.
after looking closely, noticed the harness wiring connector has 6
Pins? And my MAF is 4 pins, will that make a difference? Still fits perfectly obviously.
Thanks in advance, Lee
