Default Ford focus 58 Reg1.8 tdci headgasket

Hi Chaps

Headgasket has gone on my focus 1.8 tdci 58 plate on 420000 miles

Been told there very uncommon to go and more then lightly to be a cracked head

Any thoughts please

More than likely an oil cooler fault here.
Unless it's overheated?

Alot of people miss diagnose the oil/water mix on these engines as being the head gaskets.

don't see many cracked heads unless they have been mega hot. only 420k? it's barely run in!

Expansion tank is pressurising straight away. Done a chemical test showed exhaust gases in the water system.

Pressurised water system with a hand pump to10psi turn the engine over and water squirted from cylinder 4. Didn't even take the injector out was squirting passed the injector.

Car has had a slight miss fire for months on that cylinder reader showed open circuit on that injector so changed it. But must of been the start of the problem.
