I was thinking this a little while back. I think a lot of people have started putting them back to standard, I know a few in my local area that have been put back to standard

I reckon a good big spec one would soon sell, still plenty out there that reckon an old RS is best when well modified.

They are nice to see all standard and mint, however they are much more fun with 250bhp upwards.

Find yourself a quiet morning or afternoon and take it for a bloody good blast then! Make a little time for it.

There's still people out there that will pay good money for the right car. I was very recently offered strong money for mine, admittedly, not what it would be worth in parts, but a strong amount for a Series 2. However, I'm not ready to sell it so turned it down.

What car are we talking about and what sort of money?

Is it the one with AP's on the front? I think I know what car. Very nice. There will be someone out there who would buy it, but as you said, is it worth more in bits?
