Long Shot but anyone help me out with a V888 form?
https://www.gov.uk/government/upload...-a-vehicle.pdf
I'm in Ireland (And so is the car) and they won't accept an application from me, Needs to be from someone in the UK.
They send on all copies of log books they have on file which would be a nice addition to the history folder.
I can provide proof of ownership and also proof of the UK Reg and the written statement from owner needed, Will obviously cover costs and a few beer tokens aswel!

I dont think I've ever heard of them accepting that form from any private person.
Although they willingly sell all our details to scumbags wanting to issue illegal fines etc !!

I and many others, as private individuals, have used the V888 form to build up our vehicles history files. I think it may be much more difficult to get info if you are not the registered keeper according to DVLA records. Good luck with your quest and please keep this thread updated with your progress.
