supercharged 1.7 project question
Hi i am in the middle of my Fiesta 1.7 supercharged project and have been looking into removing the VCT as i will be running a standalone management and would prefer not to have it.
I know that i will need to remove the VCT controller and plug the oil feed holes and also use a modified exhaust pully on the inlet cam but i was hoping to find someone that has done this and even better if there's any pictures.
many thanks!!

not easy at all and probably not worth the hassle.
Once all the oil ways blocked and blanked you need either a custom cam or machine a custom spacer so that when you try and bolt into place an exhaust pully that it sits properly inline with the other pulley.
Its certainly doable although i cant see the advantage on a supercharged car. All but the most basic of after market ECU's can easily run the puma's basic VCT system.
